Before....

Duncan had been found wondering the fields in Missouri and rescued from a kill shelter the day he was to be euthanized; he was estimated to be around 12 months old. He was in bad shape, after the tick dip there were 300 dead ticks on him . He was thin and had pock marks on his body like he had been shot at with a pellet gun or worse, he was badly matted and as we found out later had an infected toe from a chick weed that had worked its way into his paw. The couple who had saved him had made great strides in his progress. The couple, who had rescued him from the kill shelter, told me, ‘Duncan was an angel disguised as a dog’

Chris and Lisa adopted Duncan. Duncan fit in perfectly with their family, but one day Lisa's father came for a visit. Duncan bonded with Lisa's elderly father when he came to the USA for a visit. It became obvious this was who Duncan was meant to live with and Lisa's father needed him just as much.
